After reading about the over acheivers that I went to high school with, I am tempted to create some really impressive work of fiction! Truth is, I left Greensboro in a flash and never looked back. Have had an adventurous 40 years... lived in Boone for 20 years, married for 25, divorced now and enjoying my life on the coast. My greatest accomplishment- caring for my parents during the last years of their lives. Made the trip from Wilmington to G'boro every weekend for ten years. Saw a few classmates during those times, but only if I ran into them at Gate City Pharmacy, Harris Teeter or Friends Homes West! I ride by my old house on Berkley every time I am in town. Some of my fondest memories are there... delivering papers with Emily, AK, Braxton, Burton and Robbie! Walking to the drug store on Walker and Cassie mixing up a Cherry Coke. Many evenings at the park on Greenway... drinking beer and smoking cigarettes. Ha! Those were the days!
