NOVEMBER 5, 1952 - JANUARY 21, 2020 Garry Wayne Cudworth, 67, passed away January 21, 2020 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Muir's Chapel United Methodist Church. A native of Greensboro, NC, Garry was born to Virginia C. Cudworth and the late James W. Cudworth. He worked in manufacturing prior to retiring. He loved the beach and enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He was involved in the Boy Scouts as a leader and as a soccer coach with his son, Andy. He was an avid Tarheel Basketball fan. Many will remember his witty sense of humor throughout his life. He is survived by his son, Andrew S. Cudworth, mother, Virginia C. Cudworth and brother, James R. "Dick" Cudworth. He is also survived by his loving friend and caregiver, Linda Goodwin, her son Shannon and grandson Nick. He is also survived by ex-wife Joan Bradley Catoe and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who loved him.
