Gary was born the 2nd of September 1952 and passed away the 28th of January 2011. After high school, he traveled the professional tennis circuit in South America for two years. Upon his return to Dallas, he taught at several tennis clubs in town and coached several junior players to national rankings. He accepted a position as the tennis pro at Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow, OK where he taught tennis lessons and ran the pro shop. A true athlete, he next took up golf and became the assistant golf pro at Heritage Ranch in Fairview, TX before moving to Borrego Springs, CA as the assistant golf pro at the country club there. He was the twin brother of Bryan Dennis (Denny) Belk Kindred, also deceased.
