Information about Ray Clarida…his history and his death:

Ray went to Wingate and Appalachian State. He graduated in 1975 with a degree in Business. From 1975 - 1981, Ray worked at different retail businesses In Greensboro. In 1981, Ray took a position with Carolina Steel in Richmond, Va. Carolina Steel closed the plant in Richmond. Ray returned to a career in retail. Ray moved back to Greensboro in 2004 to help with his parents. His last parent died in 2010 and Ray was dealing with some complications with pain from different surgeries. In 2018, Ray started to have a problem with Dementia. Ray was in a senior living facility until his death on October 26, 2021. (Information from Matt Lojko)

Mr. Ernest Ray Clarida, 68, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Clarida was born March 9, 1953 in Guilford County, to the late Earl Jay and Meta Alma Rose Clarida.

He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
