GREENSBORO — James Harold Boger, 57, of Greensboro completed life's journey on January 23, 2010.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, at 7 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro.
His immediate survivors are his wife, Susan of the home; daughters, Shannon Boger Tyler and husband, Terry of Burlington; Julie Boger Winkle and husband, Chad of Trinity; grandchildren, Terra Elaine, Ty John, Garret James, Ash Avery, Wesley James; sisters, Jeanne Boger Poole and husband, Eddie of Asheboro; Carol Boger Roberts and husband, TJ of Greensboro; sister-in-law, Kimberly Liles and husband, Jimmy of Bailey; and his beloved dog, Jasmine.
He was employed by Duke Power Company of Greensboro, and more recently by Baldhead Island in Southport. He loved cars, music and the ocean. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and adored grandfather, and will be missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends immediately after the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the Hospice Home of Burlington.
